Latest company news about How to solve the problem of image quality in digital printing?

Usually, we encounter some quality issues when using digital printing machines to print images. Is there a way to solve these problems?

1、 The quality analysis, improvement methods, and processing plan for printing images are as follows

Phenomenon: The image is blurry, with incomplete graphics in the image, and the fineness of the spray nozzle is not adjusted properly. This is mainly due to the mismatch between the selected inkjet resolution and the blank fabric.

Solution: Due to the weaving method of the fabric, the surface cannot be as smooth as paper. The difficulty of increasing software and hardware should be based on the precision of the pattern and the smoothness of the fabric. The resolution should be reasonably selected, and the height of the nozzle should be adjusted for fabrics of different thicknesses

The nozzle is too low: it can easily block the nozzle and affect the color of the pattern;

The nozzle is too high: the ink moves left and right with the nozzle. There is a certain height from the fabric. It will generate a parabolic curve at a certain angle. The boundaries of the printed pattern will be blurred. Poor accuracy. The colors are not bright enough.

So when printing. Adjust the nozzle to the appropriate height.

2、 The color hierarchy in the pattern is not rich enough

Phenomenon: There are two damages in the pattern, the level transition is unnatural, and the color tone expression is not strong. The reason for the unevenness of the layer is due to improper use of dye ink or unsuitability for the fabric.

Solution: Inkjet printing changes the color hierarchy by spraying the number of droplets. Jet printing as a point drawing. There is no problem using high dot density to represent dark colors. Sometimes there is a feeling of poor hierarchy. Or due to the mixing of multiple color points, it is easy to produce a dull color and a decrease in the brightness of the color, in order to solve the problem of light color areas. The effect of increasing density can be achieved by using two types of color materials, namely dark and light, and dual color materials. Another method is to pre mix the colors. It is known as "spot color" jet printing. But there must be a color matching system and an automatic sizing system to support it. And color matching will be restricted.

3、 During the inkjet printing process, the surface particle size may be coarse or there may be ink flow

Phenomenon: Caused by improper adjustment or damage to the inkjet nozzle.

Solution: Choose the printing accuracy. Generally, high-precision 720 DOI~720 DPI printing is used for thin worsted fabrics. The printing accuracy is directly related to the printer resolution. Use 720dpi resolution for fabric printing. The precision is already quite high, and for general woolen fabrics, spray printing can be done with a precision of 360dpi~360dpi. This can improve printing speed. And it is sufficient to meet the printing accuracy.

4、 Dye ink seepage phenomenon after spray printing

Phenomenon: Due to the small volume of ink that can be absorbed in the printing area of the fabric. Under the action of capillary effect. The excess ink on the surface of the fabric diffuses along the capillaries between fibers, causing the inkjet printing pattern to seep out. The main factors affecting the infiltration of paint ink on fabrics are not only the composition of the ink itself. The type of fiber and the structure and specifications of the fabric are also very important factors.

Solution: Treat the fabric with a suitable thickener. Block the gaps between fibers. To prevent ink from spreading along capillaries, for lightweight and loose fabrics, the gaps between fibers are large and the water holding capacity is poor.
